In the legal English classes we don»t just do boring exercises, there is also alot of speaking around legal topics.

For example a popular topic this week, with the students has been the concept of «lawful act» duress.

This is where, to name one instance, one can have a contract set aside if the other party got you to enter into the contract

by, for example, threatening to report your non-declaration of tax.

There is nothing wrong legally speaking with threatening to report someone for non-payment of tax, but you cannot use this threat to make someone sign a contract.
