Legal English Courses

The legal English courses include a 1 hour free no obligation trial class (clase de prueba). After this, the students can decide whether or not to book a course.

At present the legal English courses are held face to face at the client’s offices or online.

Legal areas covered

The classes are taught by an English lawyer, (ex-member of the law society) with London based experience. The course focuses on 3 key areas: Contract, employment and Business law. There is the option of taking an exam at the end of the course: The test of legal English skills (Toles).

Methodology

The classes focus on speaking and listening around legal topics like: employment law, differences in Spanish and English civil procedure and using prepositions correctly in contracts. We also follow a course book: The lawyer’s English language course book (B2 and C1 level).

Objectives

The objectives are to increase fluency in legal English, increase legal vocabulary, use prepositions correctly and navigate around and formulate contracts in English. Students also have the option of preparing for  the Tolles  (test of legal English skills) exam.

Timetable

Legal English (online or  at the client’s office) available Monday to Saturday.

Group classes (2 or more): €42/hour

Tripartita Foundation

This is a method by which the cost of tuition can be totally or partially deducted against social security payments, paid by the company (bonificaciones a seguridad social).
