Chris founded The English Centre after a career as a UK-qualified solicitor and former member of the Law Society of England and Wales. He holds a law degree and a master's in law, and has spent over 30 years combining legal practice with language instruction — teaching from A1 beginners through to C2 professionals in Legal English, IELTS and Cambridge exam preparation.
That legal background is what separates the course content from a standard business-English syllabus: contracts are taught the way lawyers actually read them, and exam technique is taught the way examiners actually score it.
