ALOT OF PLANNING APPLICATIONS ARE CURRENTLY BEING SUBMITTED IN SPANISH CITIES REGARDING CHANGE OF USE (eg from ground floor business premises to residential apartment). DO YOU, AS A SPANISH LAWYER HAVE DIFFICULTIES EXPRESSING YOURSELF IN THIS AREA?
- «The profits are in the planning» (for example you buy a ground-floor premises, for 70,000 euros without planning permission. When you get the requisite permissions, the value immediately goes up to 110,000 euros, for example).
- «Planning Application»: (you usually put in a planning application to the town hall in Spain).
- «Property developer»: (In Spanish the word is promotor, but we never use this word in English).
- «Planning Department»: (this would be the person/group that you submit your application to in the town hall).
- «Brownfield and greenfield sites» (it»s much easier to get the necessary permissions for brownfield rather than greenfield sites, because brownfield sites have previously been built on).
